Feliz Navidad

I can't believe it's that time of year again! I am so looking forward to seeing all of you in a week! 1 week from today actually... Hurray!!!

I really don't NEED anything for Christmas this year... but if you are looking for ideas.....

-A good cookbook or just good, tried and true recipes
-A gift card to modcloth.com (it has sooo much cute vintage stuff, but I feel guilty ordering things I don't need... so that would help)
-A starbucks gift card (my husband seems to think spending money there is frivolous or something...)
- A gift card to a shoe store (always room in the closet for more shoes :) )
-Cute headbands/hair clip things
- Cute tights or leggings (Med)

But... suprises are nice as well!

Love you all!
Hope camping preparations are coming along well!

Happy Chanukah!

Now that I've married into a Jewish family, I know that you will all respect my new heritage by giving me a different gift on each of the eight days of Chanukah. Picking out that many gifts will be difficult, so, as a kindness to each of you, I have compiled a list of suggestions.

*surprises!
*Xbox game "Gladius" (it's for the original xbox, not the current xbox 360, which means its out of print, so you'd probably have to find a used copy. I've seen them on both amazon and ebay. Gladius)
*Books 10-12 (AKA box set #4) of the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time, Boxed Set IV: Crossroads of Twilight, Knife of Dreams, Gathering Storm)
*Just about any Marlins, Dolphins, Heat or Illini stuff.
*gift card to:
          Home Depot or Lowes
Sports Authority (to be used towards golf stuff)
          Barnes and Noble
          iTunes
restaurants (PF Changs, Boston Market and Chipotle are some of our favorites)
*anything you think I might like but you think Amy would roll her eyes if I actually suggested spending money on it...
*surprises!

Thank you all so much for honoring my wife's heritage with me by celebrating the festival of lights by giving me lots and lots of presents.

Already got my 2 front teeth...

Hello to all, and Merry Christmas!

So after thinking about my list, I have come up with the following.  Some of it is fairly ambiguous, giving all your wonderful personalities a chance to shine in gift giving.  If your personality isn't feeling very shiny, I've also put down a few things, which would be great as well!

Feeling Shiny:
Manly Homeowner stuff
Manly non-Homeowner stuff
Green Bay Packers stuff (Super Bowl tickets?)
Any good books
Awesome socks of any kind

Feeling Not-so-Shiny:
The Supper of the Lamb by Robert Capon
The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
Awesome socks of the Smartwool kind
Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64

Looking forward to seeing you all in a week!

Sorry, but could you remove the picture/print of James Seward's "Peace!  Be Still!" from my Christmas wish list.  I'll explain later if anybody cares.  "Peace!  Be Still!" to all!

See you in the wilderness,

Sid

I must be thinking more and more about Christmas, cuz I have another item to put on my wish list:

an inexpensive picture/print of James Seward's "Peace! Be Still!"

Over and out- see you all soon in the "wilderness".

Hi,

I am getting excited about our camping trip and seeing everyone. It's less than two weeks away and coming fast.

I would love a surprise as a Christmas present, but if you would prefer some suggestions, here they are:

Fine bone china coffee mug

Gift card to a restaurant

Night shirt

Sweatshirt

A good book (I really enjoyed Hunger Games and Ender's Game.)

See you all soon,

Aunt Sue
Mom

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas (not really)

Hi all,

I can't believe how quickly everything is coming this year!  I am really up for any surprise for Christmas (excluding a hippopotamus), so whatever you find is great!  But if you are looking for a few suggestions, here they are:

- 5 or 10 year journal - my friend recently told me about these.  Each page is dated (i.e. January 1st) and divided into 5 or 10 parts with space to write.  This way, you write a line or two about what happened that date, and after  a few years you can look back and see what you did on that day for the past so many years.  Thought it'd be cool to give it a shot.
- books - I read too much kid literature for school.  I've been thinking of finding some good missionary bios or other more grown up fiction/nonfiction to read for myself.
- Long sleeve sweaters that I could wear for church/ teaching/ life...
- Anything fun for the house... welcome mat, decorations, fridge magnets...

Thanks ahead of time, and I am really looking forward to being with you all at Thanksgiving!

Hello Everyone!

We are so so very excited to see you all very soon! We miss you!!!

We are working on Christmas presents, and we want to make sure to not give anything away by asking any one person something specifically.... so if EVERYONE could post their Tshirt size asap, that would be awesome! Thank you so much!
